The Wyoming SBIR/STTR Initiative (WSSI) mission is to assist all qualified Wyoming small businesses and individuals in accessing the funding opportunities provided by the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs; over $2 billion annually. The nations's innovative small businesses compete for federal contracts and grants to fund new product research and development. To date Wyoming small businesses have received contracts and grants totally more than $51M with projects coming from innovators across the State of Wyoming. SBIR and STTR can help you move your technology from idea to commercialization. WSSI offers many services including training, access to mentors, networking and the innovative Phase 0/00 Program which provides contracts to build your team, collect preliminary data, cover proposal development costs and much more.
